Pimento Dram
THE BITTER TRUTH PIMENTO DRAM is based on selected pimento or allspice (also called Jamaica pepper) and the finest Jamaican rum. English explorers coined the term allspice because the dried berry seemed to embody the flavours of cinnamon, nutmeg and clove all at once. On the Caribbean island of Jamaica, this distinctive aromatic liqueur has been produced for generations by macerating allspice in rum. It works well in traditional hot or cold punches and of course, Tiki drinks.
The Bitter Truth Pimento Dram is sweet, spicy and very intense. Clove initially presents itself in the foreground, fading into the pure flavours of cinnamon, nutmeg and pepper which linger on the tongue.
22% ABV. Available in 5cl or 5cl miniatures.

Ingredients:
50 ml El Dorado 8 year old rum
10 ml The Bitter Truth Pimento Dram
3-4 dashes The Bitter Truth Orange Bitters
25 ml lime juice
15 ml almond syrup
Method
Shake with ice and strain into tumbler filled with crushed ice. Garnish with a sprig of mint.
